Indian Law Institute exam procedure

 (1) The examination is ordinarily be held in the month of May for evening session and November for morning session.
(2) A candidate securing 75 per cent marks in the aggregate is declared to have passed the examination with distinction. Those who secure 65 per cent marks or above shall be given First Division and others the rank of “Pass” without division
(3)Each candidates much secure a minimum of 40 percent marks in each paper and 50 per cent marks in the aggregate to qualify for the award of the Diploma.
(4) A supplementary examination is held in the month of October/November for evening session and in February for morning session for those students who fail I the annual examination on account of one paper , provided I the remaining papers they have secured a minimum of 40 percent marks and 50 percent in the aggregate.
(5) If a candidate fails or does not appear for any reason in the supplementary examination of one paper, he is required to appear in all the papers at the next annual examination.

The Institute also offers online certificate course on:” Intehectual Property Rights& Information Technology in the Internet Age” Anyone who has access to computer and Internet can apply and benefit from the Institute’s e-learning programme.
